Meninas de Madrid

This one of a kind public art exhibition located in the heart of Madrid is a display of over 80 Meninas or maid of honors. This work of art is inspired by Spanish painter Diego Velázquez’s famous masterpiece “Las Meninas.” Led by Antonio Azzato, it is a collaboration between various artists as they mix art and pop culture while answering the question, “what does Madrid mean to you?” It’s a unique and interesting exhibition for the city’s locals and visitors.
